Fundraising for Froglife
Froglife is a national wildlife conservation charity concerned with the conservation of the UK’s amphibian and reptile species and their associated habitats. They strive to make practical differences with their education and conservation teams physically working to restore and create vital habitats.
You can find more about this great charity on their website:
Froglife encourages as many people as possible, from all walks of life, to get involved in wildlife conservation in which ever form they can. So show your support by fundraising yourself, volunteering with them or becoming a 'Friend of Froglife' with regular donation. All the information can be found on their website.
One way to show your support is to get yourself a Slow Worm pin badge! At least half the money raised will go to Froglife. Click Here!
This badge was designed and released by myself to increase awareness of the Froglife and to raise funds for some great projects they work on. Still early days but they are proving to be quite popular so far!
The slow worm was picked as it is a very under appreciated species, which is bizarre as its one of the most interesting species of herpetofauna in the UK. Often confused with a small snake the Slow Worm is actually a legless lizard. Widespread across the UK it can be found from hill tops to back gardens.
More information can be found here:
The badges are limited to just 200 produced so make sure you pick up your badge here before they sell out!
